Wir kamen, sahen und blieben.

Wegen der Gastfreundschaft und der guten Küche von Marty, wegen der tollen Lage und wegen dem schönen Ambiente und der vielen Möglichkeiten, sich zu entspannen. Deswegen kommen wir immer wieder - nächstes Jahr sicher zum vierten Mal in Folge. Das wissen wir heute schon. Categorically the finest accommodation and hospitality I've ever encountered

We stayed just one brief night in the Chateau de Vaulx, as a stop over on the drive back up from the South of France. We had booked a meal, but were heavily delayed on the roads - we rang Marty, the owner, to tell him, thinking that we would have to cancel dinner; but he was very reassuring and kind, told us not to worry, and that we would have dinner whenever we arrived. In the end,we arrived exhausted, with nerves frayed, at half past 9 at night, after 10 hours of hell on the road...and the reception we received was the PERFECT antidote to our appalling day.

A delightful experience

We stayed six nights at Vaulx while visiting friends in the area. From the first minute that Marty welcomed us we were home. Our room was charming and well restored. The views in every direction were breath taking. Breakfast was included and it was a full Dutch type rather than French continental.
