Lovely walks around the grounds, definitely recommended

We received a very warm welcome from Marty when we arrived at short notice during our "Sawdays Road Trip" from Somerset to Italy. Chateau de Vaulx is a fabulous building that has undergone some serious renovations in recent years. Being a building geek I was fascinated by Marty's account of the works and history of his home. We enjoyed and a delicious breakfast - top service, definitely recommended.

Wonderful accommodation in a Magnificent Chateau in Burgundy

We had three rooms for one night on our way from Paris to Monaco. We were absolutely thrilled with the chateau and the excellent attention to detail provided by Marty. This place exceeded our expectations due to the fabulous rooms (each one unique), wonderful furniture and abundant views over the Burgundy countryside.

We were lucky enough to have been provided a meal on the evening of our arrival and a breakfast on the morning of our departure. Both of these were stylish and scrumptious. We have great memories of this wonderful experience and are grateful for Marty for his attentiveness and his charm. Our only regret is that we didn't book for a longer stay. Beautiful chateau and hosts

Like being in your own chateau this beautiful place offers both luxury and cosiness. The food is homemade in the beautiful kitchen by Marty. The living room and dining room are everything you would wish for in a Chateau, but without being stiff. We stayed in the room Mello, which was beautiful and very good value for money. The food is like food should be, simple, tasty and delicious :-) The three small dogs sleeping in the kitchen are adorable.
